Between 400-500 quilts from all over the United States are entered, judged and displayed for the public to view during the 3 days of the show. Cash prizes total over $8,000. In addition to looking at beautiful quilts, visitors can shop for quilting supplies at 70 vendor booths or buy a ready-made quilt at the Quilt Sale Table. Demonstrations on quilting techniques are held throughout the day. Visitors can purchase tickets for a chance to take home one of 7 exquisite quilts or a basket full of quilting goodies. They can also bid on a miniature quilt at the Silent Auction. A Food Court with several stations is open throughout the day. For those who would like to sit and sew for a while, there are charity projects to be sewn and Me Dolls to be stuffed. Quilting is not just for old ladies either. There’s a Kids’ Corner where kids can make a quilt block and a Young Quiltmakers category in the quilt show.
